Bea & Leo

Both coming from large families and with a close group of friends, we know the desire to host parties for the ones you love! We saw the need for a fun, vibrant and intimate space where people could host their own gatherings for special life events: baby showers, engagement parties, birthdays, and during the holidays. With a background in design + renovation for film, tv, home + commercial spaces - we knew we could accomplish a “home away from home” vibe - kind of like an airbnb for parties! We could design themed looks that people could rent to take their parties to the next level.

Leo

Leo is the third generation of business owners in his family - his grandfather ran a cafe on James + Barton, and a winery in the Niagara region, and his father owned “Leonardo’s” an italian canadian restaurant on the mountain. We’re excited to be part of this legacy, and will infuse parts of their values into Bambino’s. In italian - Bambino means “baby boy” - and to us this represents Leo joining his family tradition of owning a business in Hamilton.

Bea

Bea grew up in a large family - the middle child of 3 siblings and the middle of 30 cousins - she watched the adults run around, her older cousins wreak havoc, and the younger ones rebel - all coming back together to a safe and loving space. They’ve celebrated every birthday and holiday together, with large buffet style spreads of food, karaoke, parlour games, and picnics in the park. As the years went on, the families began getting bigger and celebrating all together became cozier than ever.

Learning more about her family legacy, she knows the importance of maintaining tradition, and feels incredibly lucky to have an upbringing filled with so much love and community. She wanted to create a space that feels like home to make new memories - a place to celebrate.
